The following was offered by Alderman Bourgeois seconded by Alderwoman Clay
and duly resolved:
RESOLUTION NO. 20 of 2024
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE PURCHASE AGREEMENTS PERTAINING TO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT.
WHEREAS the City of Jeanerette is in need of Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements; and,
WHEREAS the City of Jeanerette will be required to purchase property to construct the improvements:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Jeanerette that:
The Mayor of the City of Jeanerette is hereby authorized to execute the purchase agreements negotiated with the property owners.
THEREUPON, the above resolution was approved.
