RESOLUTION 4 of 2025 MUNICIPAL WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT REPORT

The following resolution was offered by Alderwoman Moore, seconded by Alderman Duplechain and duly resolved:

RESOLUTION 4 of 2025

A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE
MUNICIPAL WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION
ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT REPORT (JANUARY 2024 – DECEMBER 2024)


WHEREAS, the City of Jeanerette's Louisiana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (LPDES) Permit requires that an annual environmental audit report be prepared for the City’s wastewater treatment and collection system; and

WHEREAS, the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention Environmental Audit Report for the period from January 2024 to December 2024 has been completed; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen have reviewed the Municipal Water Pollution Environmental Audit Report which is attached to this resolution; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Jeanerette to set forth the following actions necessary to maintain the permit requirements contained in the Louisiana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (LPDES) Permit Number LA0040193.

1. Continue to provide required maintenance throughout the sewer collection and treatment system in order to comply with the discharge permit requirements.


THEREUPON, the above resolution was duly adopted.
